Wireless communication using Li-Fi
Light Fidelity (Li-Fi) is a new paradigm in wireless optical communication technology in which light is a medium of data transmission between the devices. High speed data transfer and communication is executed by using light. It is expected that Li-Fi technology can transmit data at 100 GB/sec or higher. Li-Fi technology uses LED light bulbs to access internet with very high speed, energy efficiency and safety.
In this research project, a Li-Fi dongle (transmitter) and speaker (receiver) for audio and music applications are designed. This frontline technological project is successfully designed and run by the faculty and students of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department.
